Why its called Council Ferry Group?

Growing up, I spent summer vacation at my maternal and paternal grandparents’ homes.  My maternal grandparents lived on Council Street and my paternal grandparents lived on Mathis Ferry Rd.  It was on those two streets where I cherished having a nurturing environment where I was safe, able to explore, and feel unconditional love. The roots that nourished me, during those summer years, feed my soul and vision today.  It leads me to question how we would show up as leaders of organization and leaders of self, if we held onto those nurturing attributes…we would lead with the extraordinary combination of trust and adventure.

When I consult and coach, the client’s revelation, and ability to execute, is only as good as they have a clear lens of who they are.  It is my hope to co-partner with each person and organization that I am privileged to work with will see their ‘best’ to design their best possible future.  The values and attributes that I experience on Council Ferry streets, respectively, is a daily work in progress of who I am as well as a journey I hope to reveal with my clients.
